This configuration of the GenCore^TM 5U120 (.pdf specification file) fuel cell system is designed specifically for the extended backup needs of Commercial and Industrial UPS customers. Designed to easily integrate with industry UPS Systems, GenCore^TM 5U120 Fuel Cell Systems cost effectively extend UPS backup time by a factor of up to 50 times at a fraction of the cost of UPS battery expansion solutions without any compromise in power quality. GenCore^TM systems are a direct DC power source. These systems are scalable and currently available in 4.5 kW and 9.0 kW configurations.

8 TO 10 TIMES NORMAL BATTERY BACKUP CAPACITY

The GenCore^TM 4.5kW AC Extended UPS Solution is an integration of a UPS system with a GenCore^TM 5U120 Fuel Cell System providing extended back up capability. The GenCore^TM 5U120 Fuel Cell System interfaces with the any UPS like a standard battery extension module providing 8 to 10 times the backup time of a standard extended battery module. This solution provides greater than 8 hours of backup at full power with continuous backup provided by refueling.
