EMERGENCY BACKUP POWER: Substation

If predictable, clean, quiet, and reliable emergency backup power is what you need for your electrical substations, the Plug Power GenCore^TM 5U is your answer. This system consists of the rugged and dependable standard GenCore^TM technology specifically configured to meet the needs of remote electric power providers and their substations. It is also the most cost effective long term option available.

The system comes with the standard array of GenCore^TM features which includes the standard safety controls (local or remote emergency manual shut-off, shut-off on command from a customer fire alarm circuit, shut-off by command from some other installation safety system), hydrogen sensor, various temperature sensors, and an RS 232 connection to allow external system monitoring. Optional features include the Hydrogen Storage Module, tamper sensor, flood sensor, and pad shear sensor.
