Hydrogen fuel cells are an excellent addition to a power utility's generation capacity. Silverwood Energy, Inc. would be more than happy to discuss the various features of these fuel cells and to help you determine how they might help your utility meet its power needs.

Hydrogen Fuel Cells:

• CARB-07 certified so they emit NO pollution.

• Compliant with most grid interconnection requirements such as Rule 21 in California.

• So quiet that they have been put next to hotels without complaints from the guests.

• Can be derated up to 20% over a period of time (such derating for the winter to save costs and then rerated to full capacity for the summer or vice versa).

• On-line factory monitoring, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A factory trained technician is never more than three hours away.

• Small footprint so they can be placed in built-up areas, such as a yacht harbor or hotel tennis court without any complaints.

• A built-in inverter allows the unit to run in island mode in an emergency to protect itself and the grid that it services.

• Each 300 kW unit is capable of producing enough extra hydrogen to fuel a fleet of 400 hydrogen cars with one tank of hydrogen per day!
