A solar installation utilizes solar modules, one or more electrical inverters, and racking. There are several different types of solar modules available for installation today, but most are primarily comprised of either mono or poly crystalline. Crystallinemodules consist of individual solar cells in aluminum frames, with a tempered glass front, and an EVA laminate backing. These modules range in size from 200-watts to 400-watts. All come with either a 20 to 25-year warranty and are backed by large stable corporations.
Crystalline solar modules are manufactured by companies such as SunPower, Suntech, Schott Solar, Mitsubishi Electric, Sharp Solar, Kyocera Solar, and Silliken. Silverwood Energy, Inc. sells all brands of modules. Unless you have a particular module in mind, we will choose the optimal brand and size module that best suits your system's requirements and that will provide the best production for the least cost without any aesthetic concerns.
Crystalline modules work well for both residential and commercial applications.
If roof space is a potential concern, crystalline modules are the most efficient modules on the market today and give you the most solar production for the least amount of required roof space. They are extremely durable and resilient and work well in almost any weather condition.
